SPOTIO's Integration with Salesforce
SPOTIO’s 2-way integration with Salesforce makes it easy for outside sales reps to collect data and record notes from the field by automatically syncing that information into Salesforce in real-time. In addition, reps can access historical data on every lead, account, and opportunity right from their mobile device.
Together, SPOTIO and Salesforce will keep your field data and CRM in perfect harmony.
Ways to Integrate Your Accounts
SPOTIO makes it easy for users to bridge their SPOTIO and Salesforce accounts in one of three ways:
2. through the third party app, Zapier,
3. or via SPOTIO's API.
This native, bi-directional integration with Salesforce allows our customers to easily transfer and sync valuable data from one platform to the other. With our native integration, eliminate double data entry, prevent lost information, and saving hours of time.
Integrate via Zapier
Zapier is a third part application that acts as a middleman to connect your SPOTIO to Salesforce.
Note: to use Zapier you need to have a Zapier account. You can create an account by going to zapier.com and signing up.
Integrate via SPOTIO’s API
Our open API gives you the freedom to tie together and integrate your technology stack.
Our integration will allow you to sync to either the Lead or Account object. No matter which integration path you choose.
With this integration, you will be able to:
Create Leads/Accounts. Any lead or account created in SPOTIO will sync in Salesforce, and any custom field information will be passed over based on the field mapping criteria that was set-up.
Create Activities. Activities created in SPOTIO will be created as Tasks in Salesforce.
Update Leads/Accounts in Salesforce. When a lead or account is created first in Salesforce - fields, not tasks - will be updated in SPOTIO.
Update Leads/Accounts in SPOTIO. When a lead or account is updated in SPOTIO, SPOTIO makes sure any changes in your sales pipeline are reflected in Salesforce.
When a SPOTIO pin status has been updated, a new task will be created for you within Salesforce.
Doesn’t Salesforce have a mobile app?
Yes they do - and if you’re simply collecting notes in the field it’s likely sufficient. However, many growing field sales teams are much more complex than “notes on the go.”
