How It Works: Connect in 60 Seconds

This is a user-level integration. Every rep can set this up without IT involvement.

  1. Open Profile Settings: In the SPOTIO Web or Mobile app, tap your profile icon.
  2. Select Integrations: Choose “Calendar and Email Integration.”
  3. Authenticate: Sign in with your Google credentials.
  4. Grant Permissions: Allow SPOTIO to view and edit events to enable two-way sync.
  5. Go Live: Look for the green success bar. You’re now synced.

Pro Tip: Check both “Email” and “Calendar” during setup to unlock full two-way sync capability.

Founded in 1994, Trinity Solar is the largest privately held residential solar company in the United States. They believe that solar is the most practical form of renewable energy on the planet and seek to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

Trinity’s sales team is broken down into three divisions: Appointment Setters, Closers and Appointment Setters, and pure Closers.

The Challenge

Trinity is no stranger to sales software. Being well-versed in the options available, they weren’t satisfied with what the alternatives offered. Previously utilizing one of SPOTIO’s competitors – which shall remain nameless – VP of Direct Sales Lance Rich concluded that their current software just wasn’t getting the job done. Find answers to common questions about the SPOTIO integration with Google Calendar and Gmail.

No. This is a user-level integration. Each sales rep connects their own Google Workspace account individually within Profile Settings.

To enable full two-way sync (data flowing from SPOTIO → Calendar AND Calendar → SPOTIO), you must integrate both your Calendar AND your Email during the setup process.

No. Once you authenticate on one device (Mobile or Web), your account is linked universally. Your appointments sync across all platforms immediately.

Yes. You can disable the integration anytime by returning to Profile Settings > Integrations and clicking “Remove Integration” or “Disable.”

Only emails sent after integration setup are automatically logged. Previous emails won’t be retroactively synced to SPOTIO.
